Low Voltage Ride Through Controller for a Multi-Machine Power System Using a Unified Interphase Power Controller

In recent years, grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) power generations have become the most extensively used energy resource among other types of renewable energies. Increasing integration PV sources into network and their dynamic performances under fault conditions is an important issue for grid code requirements. this paper, a source as unified interphase controller (UIPC) to enhance low voltage ride through (LVRT) transient stability multi-machine system. The suggested PV-based UIPC consists two series inverters parallel inverter. injects required active reactive prevent drop conditions. Accordingly, control system designed based on proportional-integral (PI) controllers operate in both normal Simulations are done using Matlab/Simulink software, performance compared with conventional flow (UPFC). results study indicate more favorable impact UPFC improving LVRT capabilities stability.
